PORT HURON UMC HOSTING BISHOP'S DAY
Bishop's Day is fast approaching. It will be held at Port Huron: First UMC on Saturday, March 3, 2012 with registration starting at 8:30 AM. Rev. Dr. William Dobbs, Clergy Assistant to the Bishop, will delivery the worship message. Worship begins at 9 AM. An offering will be collected for the Church Health Center. After a short break (9:45 - 10 AM), Dr. G. Scott Morris, Executive Director of the Church Health Center, will share the advice that he gives his patients and his message of faith that lead him to his vision of a healthier world. He will inspire you, to use your faith and to find a healthier you in the New Year.

Please take time to stop by the display tables and learn about programs of the United Methodist Church that help make the world a healthier place.

Registration Deadline: Monday, February 20, 2012

Bishop's Day Schedule
8:30 - 9 AM: Registration and Coffee
9-9:45 AM: Worship with Rev. Dr. William Dobbs, Clergy Assistant to the Bishop (Offering will be collected for the Church Health Center)
9:45 - 10 AM: Break
10 AM - 12 PM: Dr. G. Scott Morris, Executive Director of the Church Health Center

FUMC participated in the Blue Water International Day Parade on July 14. The theme was Kids Rock! Thanks to Jennifer Ward and Cindy Compton for organizing and feeding the children; Mike Timm for loaning us the trailer, truck and tools necessary to build the float; Alicea Williams for her persistence in organizing youth to work on the float; to all youth for their work and parents who got them there, Evan Timm for designing our T-shirt and thanks to Caffeine Alternative for agreeing to ride and play at the same time.
