The youth program is a happening place, most of the time. We
believe in doing the three S's in our program and we base them around
Jesus' answer to the man who asked Him which commandment was the
greatest from Matthew 22:37-40 :
Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the
second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang
on these two commandments."
The first and most important S is "spiritual" and focuses on loving God
with all of your heart, soul, and mind. We incorporate learning
more about and growing closer to Christ thought this. The next S
is for "Service." This focuses on the part about loving your
neighbor. It is important to learn to be in service to others
around us as Christians. The final S is "Social" and focuses on
the "as yourself" from the passage. It is also important that we
have social fellowship with each other as a community of believers, who
enjoy each others company and companionship. Check out more about
