We have a number of different Sunday School
classes for all ages. Whether you are young or young at
heart there is a class for you. Here are the
different sunday school classes that meet at each service:

Children's
Sunday School
The theme
we are presently using for the children is the Veggieconnection, based
on Bible
lessons featuring the characters from the popular Veggietales video
series. The Sunday school is done in a rotation style format,
where a teacher will teach the same lesson geared toward the different
age groups as they switch between the class rooms, which include
crafts, drama, food, video and more.
Jr. and Sr. High Classes
There is a separate junior high class for grades 6-8 and a senior high
class for grades 9-12. They meet in their respective youth rooms
for the classes. The senior high has been watching popular
movies such as Freedom Writers and applying them to how they might fit
into the bible, and how the people in the movie relate to biblical
characters, while the junior high is following a
curriculum entitled "Live Big"
Adult Class "Current Events"
In this group led by Jerry Zieg, the class looks at current event
articles from a Christian perspective. One large principle in the
class is learning social responsibility as a Christian. This
class meets every week in the church parlor.
Adult Class "Attitude is your Paintbrush"
This class, led by our
Christian Education Coordinator, Nancy Osborn, is a short term adult
discussion group featuring the book "Attitude is Your Paintbrush: It
Colors Every Situation" by James W. Moore. The class meets in
the church library.
