Mississippi Mission Trips
There have now
been two trips down to Mississippi to work in repairing the damage done
by hurricane Katrina with another being planned during spring
break. The first trip in November, 2005 was a cleaning trip since
that was where most of the need was. The team cleaned houses,
moved large debris, and did all they could to begin the cleanup phase
of rebuilding. The second trip in January, 2007 had the team
working on houses getting them ready to live in. The group
actually got to be in the finishing phase of one house and got to see
the family move back in while they were there. This summer's trip
will see a continuation of building and moving.
